Therapy/ Crisis Response Dogs

Although we only breed and sell Golden Retrievers, we have other dogs that are also part of our family such as our two Rottweilers, Nikki and Abbey.

Some of the dogs from our home have gone on to be Therapy Dogs, Service Dogs, and Crisis Response Dogs.

Our Therapy Dogs have different callings, some are used locally at hospitals and schools or where ever anyone may need some love from one of them.  Others have an even higher qualification and are able to respond anywhere they are needed to give comfort after an unfortunate crisis or disaster.
Our dogs have responded to situations to comfort firefighters on their down time while deployed fighting the wildfires.  Some have responded to situations such as memorials after a major disaster to comfort relatives and survivors.  Others have visited with 1st Responders and their support teams, those that work behind the scenes and have dealt with people when they are at their lowest.  The dogs are there to comfort these workers who have to hold in all their feelings so they can do their job. The dogs are a release and a comfort.

"Nikki"

(retired)
Meet Nikki who is very much an "odd ball" in our K9 family, but she is such a sweet and beautiful girl.  She is certain that she is a Golden Retriever, not a Rottweiler.  Nikki is a Registered Pet Partners Therapy Dog and a Certified HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response Dog.  Nikki loves to go on therapy visits so much that she has earned her AKC Therapy Dog Distinguished Title.  Nikki was nominated by her breeder at the 2019 American Rottweiler Club Awards Banquet for the Mirko and Anvil T.R.U.E. awards, which she won.  She is a true Ambassador of the breed.
