About Us
Golden retrievers have been a part of our family for more than 30 years.
About fifteen years ago, we decided to create a small kennel to produce a limited number of high-quality puppies for other families to love and enjoy. Our dogs are the center of our home, and are given lots of individual attention. Our puppies are born and raised in our home, where they are loved and individually socialized, making it easier for them to adjust to their new homes.
We live on 5 acres in Eastern Riverside County. All of our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club. We breed only certified healthy dogs to produce healthy puppies. All of our dogs must have their official OFA clearances for hips, elbows, eyes and heart in order to enter our breeding program. We strive to produce healthy, happy, even tempered puppies. Only having a few litters per year ensures that we produce quality over quantity. Puppies are carefully raised and exposed to different sights and sounds before they go home to help ensure their even temperment.
Our veterinarian examines each puppy before he/she is placed with their new families. All puppies are sold with a limited registration to help keep the breed sound and high quality. We require that puppies be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age to help stop the overpopulation of unwanted dogs in shelters, and strongly discourage backyard breeding.
We have worked very hard over time in our kennel to breed and produce puppies that serve as an example of the breed in looks and temperament. Many of our puppies are now service dogs, therapy dogs, and crisis response dogs.
We highly recommend that potential buyers research the breed and understand the responsibilities (both time and financial) and benefits that go along with owning a large, active breed. A fenced yard and home with adequate room is essential. Our puppies should be part of a loving home, living and playing with their humans, inside and outside the home. We also recommend that new owners attend puppy obedience classes to help you reach your full potential as a team and help your puppy become a wonderful family companion.
We are a Christ centered family and all business is conducted according to Matthew 7:12.
Jesus said, “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
